We are eager to collect your ideas for breakout sessions and workshops at this year's 2021 Unity Summit, set for October in Minneapolis, MN. You may submit more than one Session Idea. Whether your idea is polished or still in development, we are interested to understand your idea through the questions in the portal. If selected for the 2021 Unity Summit, we will work with you to finalize the session before it goes live in October.
At the 2021 Unity Summit, we will explore strategies for utilizing power to advance philanthropic equity.
Specifically, we are looking for examples of how philanthropy can support structural and institutional CHANGE through two focus areas:

Internal organizational practice - work focused on climate and culture, realizing intersectional racial equity within philanthropic organizations

External practice - use of capital, ways of engaging with community, methods for leveraging collective power
Session ideas should align with one or more of the Unity Summit goals:

Highlight how to integrate diversity, equity and inclusion towards liberation into philanthropic practice.

Amplify racially equitable philanthropic practices that address structural and institutional change.

Magnify community priorities of our partners with an intersectional approach.
